Breast Reduction
Breast reduction surgery helps patients with overly large breasts improve how they look and feel. The weight of excess breast tissue can impair your ability to lead an active life, and can cause health and emotional problems. In addition to self-image issues, you may also experience physical pain and discomfort. The emotional and physical discomfort and self-consciousness often associated with having overly large breasts can be changed with breast reduction surgery.

Reduces the size of the breasts by removing excess breast tissue, skin and fat to achieve an ideal size and shape for your lifestyle.

Procedure Planning
A pre-surgical visit with Dr. Wages will be scheduled 2 weeks before your breast reduction surgery to finalize your measurements, review the procedure, complete all paperwork, and get you ready for your surgery which will be performed on an outpatient basis. You will come in the day before your surgery for final markings. If you smoke it is important to quit as smoking affects the healing process.
Experience
You will be guided from initial contact by our team with specific information about your breast redcution procedure. When we schedule a consultation, you will be sent information to read before you meet Dr. Wages. Your consultation includes a comprehensive, thorough examination with bio-dimensional measurements, and a review of the procedure and recovery. We work with you in a team approach to help you achieve your desired outcome
Recovery
Take it easy the first 24 hours after surgery. You will be given specific post-operative instructions by Dr. Wages to follow to ensure a safe and speedy recovery from your breast reduction. Immediately after surgery your healing begins, and in the days and weeks to follow your will see your results emerge. You can expect continuous improvement with your full healing after 6 months.
