Mini Face Lift
A mini face lift is a surgical procedure that improves visible signs of aging in the face and can also improve the neck. It includes the removal of excess sagging skin on the face. Incisions are made utilizing hidden scar techniques around the ear ending at the base of the ear lobe and behind the ear. A section of excess skin is removed, and the tissues are sutured to tighten the appearance of the face. People with a large volume of excess skin or skin laxity are not candidate for the Mini Face Lift, and may require a full face lift for the desired outcome.

RECOVERY
Following completion of a mini face lift the incisions are covered with steri-strips. A compression garment with reusable cool gel packs will be provided after surgery to help with swelling. Sutures and steri-strips are removed one week after the surgery. A second follow up is usually scheduled for one month after surgery.
DOWNTIME
Take it easy the first 24 hours after surgery. Avoid any vigorous physical activity, exercise, running, etc. for the first three weeks after surgery.
